Norwood Police Log: June 30 - July 1

Thursday, June 30:

10:43 a.m. - Caller on Roosevelt Ave. reported a female chasing a white-haired male around and saying she was going to hurt him. The incident was resolved when police arrived.

11:31 a.m. - The Norwood Department of Public Works responded to bags of trash on Boston Providence Highway. 

1:36 p.m. - Caller reported smoke coming from the W.C.C. Thrift Shop on Washington St. The Norwood Fire Department responded and handled a small porch fire.

10:23 p.m. - Caller on Dean St. reported a group of kids lighting fireworks off causing a brush fire. The Norwood Fire Department responded to the incident.

Friday, July 1

12:51 a.m. - Resident on Bullard St. reported a pole had been struck and wires were on the roadway. When police responded, it was determined the pole had rotted at its base.
