Norwood Rec Program Director Wins 'Young Professional Of Year'

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood Recreation's program director is the latest winner of the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association “New Professional of the Year" award. Katie Seastedt is the 2020 recipient of the award.

The award was created by the Massachusetts Recreation and Park Association's Executive Board to recognize young professionals who have done outstanding work in the departments across the state over the year.

Norwood's Recreation Department shouted out Seastedt's accomplishment in a tweet on Thursday. Her acceptance letter was photographed in the tweet next to a photo of Seastedt in truck full of food donations.
