Norwood Superintendent Finalist Takes Framingham Opening, 1 Finalist Remains

NORWOOD, MA — And then there was one remaining candidate in the search for Norwood’s next superintendent

With the site visits planned and the finalists selected, the process to find the town’s new top school official took an interesting turn last week when Weston Superintendent Robert Tremblay was named the next superintendent of the Framingham Public Schools.

David Thomson, the superintendent of the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District is the only finalist remaining. He is scheduled to return to Norwood for a site visit.

Tremblay was picked to lead the Framingham schools on Feb. 28. He previously applied for that job in 2012, according to the Metrowest Daily News.
