(VIDEO) You Said It: Best Parts of the Fourth of July Parade

Norwood residents threw a party of their own on Monday, joining others across the country celebrating the nation's 235th birthday for the Fourth of July holiday. 

Following a 5K road race through downtown, the parade kicked off with the blaring sounds of local firetrucks while people honored those who have and continue to serve the country.

Norwood Patch caught up with parade-goers during the evening and explored people's favorite features of the parade.
