• Peabody Holiday Pops Concert Tradition Returns For 2026 (patch.com) — Peabody residents are invited to Mayor Bettencourt's Annual Holiday Pops Concert, returning as a two-night celebration on Dec. 5 and 6 at Wiggin Auditorium in City Hall. Featuring the Hillyer Festival Orchestra, soloist A.J. Ramsey, and the PVMHS Chorale, the event includes dinner and a concert, with tickets available in person, by phone, or email.
   

• Video shows SUV smash into Peabody nail salon (nbcboston.com) — An SUV crashed through the front windows of Starlight Hair & Nail Spa in Peabody on Tuesday morning, but fortunately no one inside was hurt. Surveillance video shows the vehicle smashing into the empty main room, leaving broken glass and damaged furniture while the owner happened to be in the back.
   

• 'Fell short': Topsfield Fair apologizes to Peabody mother, son on autism spectrum (boston25news.com) — A Peabody mother says her 6-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum, was turned away from rides at the Topsfield Fair on Sensory Day because he couldn't tolerate wearing a wristband. Fiesta Shows and fair organizers have since apologized, clarified that adults can wear the band for such children, and invited the family back as guests.
