Peabody Declares Snow Emergency Parking Ban
Vehicles parked on city streets are subject to ticketing and towing for the duration of the parking ban.
PEABODY, MA — Peabody has declared a snow emergency parking ban beginning early Saturday morning ahead of a storm expected to bring 3 inches or more of snow to the North Shore.
The parking ban begins at 1 a.m. and will continue until conditions allow for it to be rescinded.
Snow showers throughout Saturday could be heavy at times — with prolonged bands of snow pumping up accumulations near the coastline — ahead of an arctic blast that will bring some of the fiercest wind chills of the season this weekend.
