Hair Cuttery Celebrates Grand Opening of New Salon with Ribbon Cuttery Ceremony
New full-service, value-priced salon arrives at Myles Standish Plaza.

Hair Cuttery celebrated the grand opening of its newest salon in Plymouth, MA on Wednesday, July 19th with a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by Kevin O’Reilly, executive director of the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce and attended by State Representative Mathew Muratore and numerous members of the community. The new salon is located at 113 Samoset Street in the Myles Standish Plaza.
As part of the grand opening festivities, Hair Cuttery teamed up with Heidrea for Heroes. From June 4th to July 1st, five percent of all proceeds from the new salon were donated to the charity. A check for $537.40 was presented to Jesse Brown and Amy Belmore from Heidrea for Heroes at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

“As we open our newest salon in Plymouth, we are thrilled to be providing jobs and services to people in the Plymouth area,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “Our goal is to bring value and style to the entire family through our services and products,” said Ratner. “We are a family-owned business and feel it’s important to serve as a community partner and support local charities and causes that impact our neighbors,” said Ratner. “We look forward to continuing our efforts to be an active participant in the Plymouth community.”

Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable support. For the past 18 years, it has sponsored Share a Haircut, a national charitable campaign aimed at giving free back-to-school haircuts to children in need as well as haircuts for the homeless, victims of domestic violence, and veterans. Through partnerships with local social service agencies, Hair Cuttery has donated more than 2.01 million free haircuts since the program’s inception in 1999. Hair Cuttery salons also support local charities and community causes through cut-a-thons and donations.
