Plymouth Grandmother Killed in Crash
A Plymouth grandmother was killed in a crash Wednesday.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Plymouth grandmother was killed in a crash in Westborough Wednesday.
Desiree White, 80, of Plymouth, was driving a minivan on West Main Street at about 4:30 p.m. when she struck a school bus, police said. Her van became pinned underneath the bus.

There was so much wreckage it took first responders two hours to remove White, police said. She was pronounced dead at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, police said.
Her husband, Ronald, 79, was in the passenger seat. He was injured and expected to survive. Their 11-year-old granddaughter suffered minor injuries.

There were no children aboard the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver, a 60-year-old Charlton man, was not hurt, police said.
