SSC Community Voices Chorus Presents Winter Concert

South Shore Conservatory's Adult Chorus for Individuals with Developmental Delays Shares Familiar Seasonal Tunes

SSC Community Voices, South Shore Conservatory’s adult chorus for individuals with developmental delays, presents their annual winter concert on Wednesday, December 14 at 7 pm at South Shore Conservatory’s Ellison Center for the Arts, 64 St. George Street, Duxbury.

The chorus presents a variety of seasonal tunes, including, Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, Shalom Chaverim, Still, Still, Still, Silent Night, and Jingle Bell Rock. A non-auditioned chorus, SSC Community Voices provides joyful ensemble singing and performance opportunities for over 30 adults and young adults with developmental delays. Directed by Board Certified Music Therapists Eve Montague and Amanda Goff, the chorus begins their next session in January and welcomes new singers and peer mentors.

South Shore Conservatory is very grateful to the Cordelia Family Foundation for underwriting its SSC Community Voices program, which includes SSC Community Voices Too! at its Hingham campus. This generous gift allows South Shore Conservatory to offer this special chorus for a nominal amount per semester, removing the financial barrier of entry and making it accessible for all.
