Talking Information Center's Radio Drama "The Lottery" to Air August 31st
TIC broadcasts 24-hours a day to thousands of visually impaired and otherwise print impaired listeners throughout the state.

Following the legendary thriller "Sorry, Wrong Number" and the musical "Working", Talking Information Center's (TIC) next radio drama production will be Shirley Jackson's famous short story of horror, "The Lottery".
TIC will air "The Lottery" on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 7 p.m.
Broadcasting 24-hours a day to thousands of visually impaired and otherwise print impaired listeners throughout the state, the award-winning reading service encourages listeners to tune in to their live broadcast featuring the TIC Radio and Podcast Players, comprised of local TIC volunteers who auditioned for parts.
"The Lottery" cast features Richard Kelleher of Bridgewater, Maureen Murphy of Cambridge, Steve Yakutis of Canton, Caroline Bacon of Cohasset, Lynne Walsh of Duxbury, Scott Byron and Stan Troupe of Hanson, Eric Joseph, Norm Blair, Teresa DeLuca, Dianne Legro and Steve Virta of Marshfield, Ann Fowler of Middleboro, Grant Baxter of Pembroke, Bob Churchill and Jesse Stone of Plymouth, and Melanie Donovan of Weymouth.
The Radio and Podcast Players perform each radio play in front of a live studio audience backstage at TIC. The cast is led by producers Eric Joseph, Executive Director of The Bay Colony Shakespeare Company (BCSC) and John Shea of TIC.

TIC strives to bring live theater to those who might not have access to it otherwise due to accessibility, transportation or financial issues and to bring their audience of over 30,000 listeners fresh, new and exciting content.
The first two radio drama performances, "Sorry, Wrong Number" which aired June 29th, and "Working" which aired July 26th, are now available for free on TIC's website, http://ticnetwork.org/programs/special-programming/
