Metro Credit Union Celebrates Official Grand Opening of Salem Branch in Vinnin Square

BOSTON, MA – July 26, 2011- Metro Credit Union recently celebrated the opening of their new branch located at 4 Paradise Rd. in Salem with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 21.
President and CEO Robert M. Cashman welcomed the group, followed by remarks from Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll.

“This beautiful new branch makes us more accessible to our members," said Robert M. Cashman, President and CEO. "We decided to relocate from Swampscott due to our recent growth and the amount of increased business we have experienced; this location will better serve the large number of members we have on the North Shore,” Cashman added.
Mayor Driscoll welcomed Metro to Salem, stating, “We’re pleased that Metro has chosen to come to Vinnin Square. We look forward to having a strong partnership with Metro and working with them to improve the financial well-being of citizens in our community.”

The new location provides greater convenience to members, a 24-hour ATM, and ample parking. This branch opened for business on May 23, 2011, and provides members living in the Salem, Swampscott, and Marblehead area convenient banking right at their doorstep.
