Salem Police Caution of Scammers Trying to Benefit from Dallas Shooting Victims
Police have been seeing reports of scammers attempting to solicit money for victims of the Dallas Police Department.

SALEM, MA—The Salem Police Department cautioned residents this week of calls attempting to solicit money for the victims of the Dallas shootings.
Those calls are scams, say the Salem Police Department.
Police say that the calls are scams, and that no police charity will call unsolicited asking for money in wake of a tragedy.
