Shrewsbury Patriots Football Teams Nab Unprecedented Wins
The Shrewsbury Patriots league is happy to announce four championship wins.
And the Patriots keep winning. The Shrewsbury Patriots, that is.
The SAYFCO (Shrewsbury American Youth Football and Cheer Organization) Shrewsbury Patriots Football League now has two Super Bowl Championships and two state championship wins.
The fourth grade team, coached by Marlon Toon, has won the Central Mass AYF Super Bowl and also the Massachusetts AYF state championship.

The fifth grade team, coached by Clint Mills, has also won the Central Mass AYF Super Bowl and beat Natick on Sunday to also become the Massachusetts AYF champions.
Both teams now move on to the Regional Competitions this weekend Connecticut to compete in their respective Regional Championship games.

"Two state championships in the Shrewsbury SAYFCO program is unprecedented and an amazing accomplishment," said Chris Schofield, marketing director for the Shrewsbury Patriots.
