Shrewsbury Senior Center Calls For Donations For Food Pantry
The center's food pantry serves local seniors in need.
SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Senior Center is asking the community to help stock its food pantry, which serves local seniors in need.
The center at 98 Maple Ave is in immediate need of non-perishable donations to keep its shelves stocked, the town said. The pantry relies on local generosity to meet increasing demand.
"Every donation—big or small—makes a direct impact on the lives of our local seniors," town officials shared in a news release.

Items most needed include:
- Proteins: like canned tuna and canned chicken
- Pantry Staples: peanut Butter and jelly, pasta sauce, rice, low-sugar cereals
- Extras: salad dressings and condiments
- Essentials: personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper towels
Donations can be dropped off at the Shrewsbury Senior Center's front desk from 8 a.m. to 4:30 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday.
