St. John's defeats Nashoba 31-21 yesterday in their second straight Superbowl win.
The Pioneers defeated the Nashoba Chieftains on Saturday afternoon to win their second straight Super Bowl.
Nashoba entered the game with a record of 10 - 2, finishing second in the division.
The #1 Pioneers started out the game by going deep and taking chances against the talented Nashoba defense.

St. John's Quarterback Dan Light soon found Efrain Montalvo in the end zone for a 35-yard score.
Nashoba Quarterback Will Hurley marched the Chieftains down the field and tied up the score after a 10-yard touchdown pass.

Light responded by finding future Cal Golden Bear Richard Rodgers. This made the score 14 - 7 after a successful 2-point conversion. That catch gave Rodgers 1,000 yards receiving on the season.
Nashoba responded once again by scoring on a short handoff.
Just as the game was looking like it would be a nail biter for the ages, the Pioneers spread their lead. Light rushed the ball in for the score on a goal line situation, shortly followed by a 20-yard field goal by Richard Rodgers.
One more touchdown pass was thrown by each quarterback, but Hurley's toss was too little too late.
The St. John's Pioneers win 31 - 21, and are Super Bowl Champions.
