Suspected Creep Allegedly Followed 3 in Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY, MA — Police say they have identified a man who followed a woman, and two others, in the same area recently in Shrewsbury.

On Saturday, April 30, at 5:47 p.m., Shrewsbury police responded to the Shrewsbury Green Apartments on South Quinsigamond Ave. for reports that a suspicious man was following a woman.

The woman told police that the man had started following her as she left Shaw's, and then she saw him again at her apartment complex, where her husband intervened. The man fled when he heard that police had been called.

The Shrewsbury Police are currently investigating this incident and also two other similar incidents that occurred in the same area. The man has been identified, and it was confirmed he was the same man involved in the previous two incidents.

Police cannot release additional information because the investigation is ongoing.

The Shrewsbury Police are asking the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or individuals to the Shrewsbury Police immediately.
