8 Somerville Arrests: Assault On Officer, Drug Possession

Monday, Aug. 19

• A 40-year-old Arlington man was arrested at 3:12 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• Terrance Morrison, 25, of Somerville, was arrested at 10:17 a.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer (five counts) and resisting arrest. He also faces Cambridge warrant charges of larceny of a credit card, credit card fraud under $1,200, receiving stolen motor vehicle (subsequent offense) and larceny over $1,200.

Tuesday, Aug. 20
• Shami Grant, 19, of Charlestown, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. and charged with possession to distribute a Class B drug.
• Erin Russell, 34, of Charlestown, was arrested at 12:17 p.m. on Somerville warrant charges of armed assault to rob, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (two counts), assault and battery with a dangerous weapon over 60 and assault and battery.
Thursday, Aug. 22

• Manuel Menjivar, 36, of Somerville, was arrested at 2:54 a.m. on a probation issue stemming from a charge of assault to rape.
Friday, Aug. 23
• A 56-year-old man was arrested at 11:43 a.m. on a Newburyport warrant.
Sunday, Aug. 25
• Mark Galloway, 58, of Somerville, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a Class A drug.
