After Design Change, Somerville Medical Pot Shop Hopeful Will Present New Plans
Garden Remedies will host a community meeting Wednesday.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A medical marijuana dispensary with its sights set on Somerville's Davis Square will present un updated design at a community meeting Wednesday, Feb. 8.
Garden Remedies, which opened a dispensary in Newton late last year, received a letter of non-opposition for the Family Dollar space at 245 Elm Street. According to Ward 6 Alderman Lance Davis, the dispensary presented plans to the city that only had an entry door at the store front.
Plans that were presented at the first neighborhood meeting showed a portion of the street front would be dedicated to Garden Remedies, which differed from the design that is now before the Zoning Board of Appeals. The dispensary will present the current version of the plans to the community Wednesday and address any questions or concerns.
