Art at SCATV: Free Artist Reception on Sat. November 8th

Dixie Manley is a self-taught abstract artist with a unique approach to painting. This artist uses traditional materials, paint and canvas, in a very nontraditional way. Sometimes Dixie Manley uses a brush to create images on the canvas; other times she pours the paint on to the canvas, and gently coaxes the paint to create the image.

The end result is a diverse and impressive body of work. Dixie Manley uses color, shapes and glitter to give her paintings energy and spirit which she graciously and generously shares with the viewer.
