Arts Council Community Arts Summit

Join us for an Arts Council Community Summit!
Date & Time: Sunday, April 10 from 2-5pm

Location: The Arts at the Armory, 191 Highland Ave.

We want to hear from the arts and cultural community to understand the issues you are facing. The Council’s work is always evolving and changing. We view our work in broader categories with numerous programs and expanded initiatives to serve you, including:

-Youth programming
-Cultural economic development work
-Festivals and events that support artists and promote cultural and civic engagement
-Direct grants to artists and organizations
-Culinary entrepreneurial initiatives
-Physical space development

We want to hear more about what you need. Help us shape and guide our efforts toward your needs. Help us understand what gaps we, the Council and the City of Somerville, need to address.

The gathering will be structured to elicit your specific desires and concerns and provide us with specific outcomes and recommendations.
