Baseball Bat Used To Rob Chelsea Convenience Store: Police

CHELSEA, MA – Police in Chelsea are looking for a man accused of robbing a convenience store with a baseball bat Thursday night. The robbery was reported around 9 p.m. at Corner Market, 803 Broadway, police said.

The suspect fled on foot with cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes, according to police. The clerk suffered minor injuries.

Officers canvassed the area and continue to review security footage in their search. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40s wearing a mask and dark clothing.
