CareWell Urgent Care to Open New Center in Cambridge

QUINCY, Mass., September 8, 2015 – CareWell Urgent Care today announced plans to open a second center in Cambridge, located at 601 Concord Ave, on September 14. CareWell opened the first Cambridge location in 2014 at 1400 Cambridge Ave in Inman Square.

CareWell Urgent Care offers medical care from Board-certified doctors, no referral or appointment necessary. Patients can visit CareWell centers for all nonlife-threatening, but still urgent, illness or injury, including colds, flu, infections, fractures, cuts, rashes and allergic reactions. Centers also offer preventative care such as flu shots, vaccinations and routine physical exams including school and sports physicals, and have on-site X-ray and lab capabilities.

With the patient’s permission, CareWell will forward x-rays, lab results and diagnostic notes to the primary care doctor within 24 hours of their visit.

CareWell Urgent Care centers accept most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid and the copay and visit fees are comparable to an office visit with your primary care doctor.
