Chelsea Stabbing: 1 Dead, Good Samaritan Sought
A 23-year-old man was killed overnight during a fight at a convenience store.

CHELSEA, MA – A 23-year-old Everett man died after a stabbing in Chelsea overnight, police said. The attack was reported a little after 3 a.m. at Broadway and Stockton; two others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Chelsea Police Chief Brian Kyes told the Boston Globe that the man was stabbed during a fight in the parking lot of Tedeschi's convenience store. He was pronounced dead a short time later at Whidden Hospital.
Nabeeb Gonzalez, 37, was arrested Thursday and charged with manslaughter. According to the Globe, he was one of two other people injured in the altercation. A 34-year-old Chelsea man was also found injured at the scene and is expected to survive, police said.

Investigators are seeking a good Samaritan who stopped and assisted in the immediate aftermath of the stabbing. Police said the man is sought only as a witness and is not accused of any wrongdoing. He is described as possibly middle aged and Latino, with salt-and-pepper hair. He was driving an older white vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord, according to police.
