'Severe' Orange Line Delays During Friday Commute

The MBTA is reporting delays on the Red and Orange Lines during the Friday morning commute. Slow service on the Orange Line is the result of a disabled train at Tufts Medical Train, the agency said. An earlier disabled train caused delays on the Red Line.

The impact to service on the Red Line is "minor," according to the MBTA. Delays on the Orange Line have been upgraded to "severe."

Shuttle buses are replacing Orange Line service between Wellington and Community College due to an earlier track problem at Wellington. The following stops are affected:

• Wellington
• Assembly
• Sullivan Square
• Community College
