Kidstock returns to the Central Library this summer with four fun shows by and for kids! The shows feature Max & Suzy, best friends who love theater, and who celebrate the summer with a series of silly shows that combine a favorite book each of them insists must become a play. Their comical conflict always results in a creative compromise as these two young playwrights learn to “play right” and involve the audience as additional cast members in the drama-filled fun of their staged “mergers”..
This week's show is Sleeping Ugly. Suzy is forced to abandon her princess fantasies to tell a tale of an ugly duck that keeps the kingdom awake! Add to her dilemma an upside down curse book and snakes that hiss instead of kiss and you have a parade of problems only the audience can help solve!
