Shared housing is an old practice that is getting a new look as people consider ways to reduce their living expenses and increase their connections to one another. Sharing housing comes in a variety of styles and types and no two are alike. It occurs in apartments, single family homes, stacked units, and clustered buildings, and involves people of all ages.
Panelists will cover house sharing, cohousing, multi generational living, and provide guidance on how to think about what fits your needs. For residents intending to age in place, a supportive shared housing arrangement may be a key to making that a reality. Plan to attend for yourself and or bring a family member.
