PHOTOS: 60 Funny Signs at Sav-Mor Liquors

A sign from the Medford Sav-Mor Liquors—which Somerville Patch editor Chris Orchard believes is actually in Somerville—read, "Stay Wicked Strong." It was recently featured on BuzzFeed’s "31 Ways 2013 Was The Most Boston Year Ever," so we decided to take a look at more of the liquor store's work.

Somerville's Sav-Mor is at 15 McGrath Highway. The family-owned store opened in 1961 and also has locations in Cambridge and Malden.

The Medford Sav-Mor Liquors is at 2153 Mystic Valley Parkway. But take a look at this Somerville assessors map. It clearly shows the Sav-Mor building as being in Somerville. It's also listed on Somerville's tax rolls, according to the assessors database.
