Pipe Bursts At Somerville City Hall Annex

SOMERVILLE, MA – The Somerville City Hall Annex will be closed through Friday, Jan. 12 for emergency repairs after a pipe burst, city officials said. Some departments have been moved to temporary locations and others will work remotely.

Residents are encouraged to contact 311 or individual departments directly via email for further information.

Here is where each department has been relocated for the rest of the week, according to the city of Somerville:

Health and Human Services – Director: Doug Kress, dkress@somervillema.gov

• Shape up Somerville – Cummings School, 42 Prescott St.
• Veterans’ Services – Tufts Administration Building (TAB), 167 Holland St.
• All other HHS functions normally housed at the Annex including Nurses, Accessibility Coordinator, and the Somerville Office of Prevention – Cross Street Center, 165 Broadway
• Council on Aging – Please note the Council on Aging main office is always housed at the TAB building, which is unaffected. So there is no change to Council on Aging services or locations.

Housing – Director: Michael Feloney, mfeloney@somervillema.gov

• Directors, Condo Review Board, and Inclusionary staff – City Hall subcommittee room, 93 Highland Ave.
• Energy Programs staff – Cross Street Center, 165 Broadway

Retirement – Director: Michael Pasquariello, mpasquariello@somervillema.gov

• Staff – Tufts Administration Building, 167 Holland St.

Arts Council – Director: Greg Jenkins, gjenkins@somervillema.gov

• Staff working remotely
