River Bar's "Arrested Development" Halloween

WHAT: On October 31, Assembly Row hotspot River Bar will host an “Arrested Development” themed Halloween soiree, complete with a costume contest and festive beverage specials.

On the liquid side, River Bar will shake up the following pun-laced cocktail specials in true Bluth family fashion: The Lucille (St. George vodka, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, housemade limoncello vodka - $12); The Loose-Seal (Gosling’s Rum, Ancho Reyes, orgeat, lime, ginger beer - $11); STEVE OVERHOLT! (Old Overholt, Bonal, combier cherry, coke syrup, Angostura Bitters - $10); Dr. Fünke Collins (gin, elderflower, lemon, Dr. Pepper - $10); There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand (housemade coconut rum, Banane du Brésil, lime - $10); I Just Blue Myself (tequila, lime, agave, blue curaçao - $12); and, Pop-Pop Gets a Treat? (mystery shot, bartender’s choice - $5).

Guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress in “Arrested Development” costumes or other Halloween garb. Revelers will compete for the titles of “Overall Best Costume” and “Best Arrested Development Costume” as chosen and judged by the River Bar staff. The duo of winners each will be rewarded with a $50 gift certificate to River Bar.
