Somerville Homeless Coalition Road Race To Cause Delays Saturday

SOMERVILLE, MA – The annual Somerville Homeless Coalition Road Race will be held in and around Davis Square at 9 a.m. this Saturday, Oct. 7. The city is advising residents of possible delays in the area until the race ends at approximately 9:45 a.m.

Both drivers and bus riders will be impacted. Very short delays are expected in the areas of Holland Street, Broadway in Teele Square, North Street, Powderhouse Boulevard, Broadway in Ball Square and Cedar Street. MBTA buses will be temporarily rerouted and signs will be in place at impacted bus stops with information about temporary bus stop locations.
