Somerville Men Arrested Following Drunken Brawl

Thomas Dearmon and Omar Legall were both arrested and charged.

Police in Somerville say they were forced to arrest a pair of men following a drunken brawl in the early morning hours on August 15.

Thomas Dearmon, of Somerville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and miscellaneous common law violation. Omar Legall, also of Somerville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Upon responding to 68 Wheatland Street around 4:25 a.m., police were forced to intervene as the two men were mixed up in an altercation and standing in the middle of the roadway, officials say.

Police say they attempted to send Legall on his way, but he refused to leave. Legall then resisted arrest and attempted to flee the scene. Dearmon reportedly attempted to prevent the arrest of Legall.

Both man were taken to the station for booking. They’ll appear in court at a later date.
