Somerville Museum One Day Sale of Books, Postcards & Ephemera: Saturday, September 19th

The Somerville Museum is holding a sale of noncollection old and rare books, postcards and ephemera this coming Saturday, September 19th.

The Somerville Museum is holding a sale of old and rare books, postcards and ephemera this coming Saturday, September 19th at its building on One Westwood Road. We are offering an early bird special from 11am-1pm for those willing to pay $5 for admission to have first dibs on the items or to participate in our silent auction on selected highly desirable works. Admission for members of the Somerville Museum is free. The sale continues from 1-4PM (free admission) with many items discounted further after 3pm. All proceeds support activities of the Museum.

The sale contents include original editions of the Museum’s historic publications, the “Historic Leaves” and many old, rare and collectable items and books that were donated to the Museum over the past 100 years or so. Those being sold are not part of the Museum’s collection and do not pertain to Somerville history or to the mission of the Museum, a 501c3 nonprofit. Our archive and collection group has been working for the past year to separate these from the collection and to organize this sale.

The Museum is located at the intersection of Westwood Rd. with Central St. in Somerville. Parking on Westwood Road is for residents only; however parking on Central St. is free.
This is a one time only event! Don’t miss it.
