12 Somerville Projects Under Consideration for Community Preservation Funding
The city is currently considering $2.9 million in requests for historic preservation and open space projects.
SOMERVILLE, MA – The City of Somerville is currently considering $2.9 million in requests for historic preservation and open space projects through the Community Preservation Act, and it is seeking residents' input ahead of deciding what to fund.
There are several ways you can provide feedback – at public meetings or in writing, by watching videos of the meetings or reading about the projects online and submitting written comments. This year, $880,415 is also available for affordable housing projects.
Each applicant will present their projects at one of two public meetings, to be held Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the Visiting Nurse Association, 259 Lowell St.
