Tonight: Somerville Community Meetings on Davis Square, Nunziato Park Projects

SOMERVILLE, MA – Two community meetings on development projects in Somerville will be held as scheduled tonight.

Both begin at 6 p.m.

The Somerville by Design Davis Square Planning Meeting will be held at the Somerville Baptist Church, 31 College Ave. It is the first in a series of five meetings involving the planning of Davis Square development and infrastructure improvements. The Nunziato Stormwater and Park Project Meeting will be held at the Somerville High School library, 81 Highland Avenue. The field and dog park at Nunziato is the site of Somerville's stormwater infrastructure project, aimed at mitigating flooding in the Union Square neighborhood. Once the project is completed, the park will be renovated to include a new natural grass playing field, dog park and seating areas.

The city is seeking input from residents on both projects.
