Tufts Student Robbed Near Campus
The student was robbed by two men Tuesday night while walking near campus.

A male Tufts University student walking on Packard Avenue near campus Tuesday night was robbed by two men.
The suspects approached him at about 11:15 p.m. on Packard Avenue, near Electric Avenue, in Somerville, according to a Tufts Police release. The victim told police one of the men grabbed the front of his shirt and demanded his cell phone, laptop and wallet. After he handed over the items, the suspects fled on foot on Electric Avenue, toward Mason Street.
The victim was not injured, and Somerville Police were notified and are investigating.

The victim described the suspects as:
- A dark-skinned man in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-9 with a stocky to athletic build, short hair and some light facial hair, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark blue or black pants.
- A light-complexioned man in his mid-20s, about 6-foot-1 with a slim build, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and dark cargo style pants.
