Upcoming Public Meetings On Somerville Re-Zoning

Somerville officials have proposed an overhaul to the zoning code. Residents will get to see what would change at two upcoming meetings.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The following is an announcement from the city of Somerville.

Members of the public are invited to attend upcoming public meetings and public hearings by the Somerville Planning Board and the Board of Aldermen’s Land Use Committee to provide feedback on the City’s proposed Zoning Overhaul, which was recently submitted to the Board of Aldermen and Planning Board. A public presentation and a public hearing are scheduled as follows, and both are open to the public:

Tuesday, Feb. 13, 6 p.m., City Hall: City staff will introduce the code, provide an overview, and highlight the differences between the proposed 2018 overhaul and the 2015 version.

Tuesday, March 13, 6 p.m., City Hall: the Planning Board and BOA Land Use Committee will accept public comments.
