What's Next For Somerville?

The elections are behind us. Somerville's looking forward, so what do you want to see accomplished?

SOMERVILLE, MA – Election Day has come and gone. Now Somerville has the opportunity to move forward with some fresh and some familiar faces in varying positions.

Most notable in this year's election was the presence of Our Revolution Somerville. The progressive activist group gained a foothold in city politics with a sweep of races in which it endorsed candidates. Ward 1 Alderman Matt McLaughlin told the Boston Globe he believes the results indicate that residents want a "progressive change."

So we ask you, the people of Somerville, what would you like to see accomplished in coming months and years? What concerns do you have going forward? What issues would you like to see Patch investigate? What pleases you about this city?
