• Conservation Commission with more detailed plan to obtain Forest Ridge parcel (homenewshere.com) — A Winchester conservation proposal could shape access to open space right on Stoneham's border, since part of the 13.7‑acre Forest Ridge parcel actually lies in Stoneham. Winchester's Conservation Commission plans to seek Town Meeting approval to buy the land, using grants and a state earmark specifically to acquire the Stoneham portion that can't be taken by eminent domain, preserving trails and wildlife habitat near the Fells.
