The Holiday Season is a great time to sponsor a paver in the Veterans' Walk of Remembrance

The Holiday Season is a great time for individuals and families to sponsor a paver in the Veterans’ Walk of Remembrance. The paver can be contributed in honor of, or in memory of, any veteran who has served or is currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The individual does not have to be a resident of Wakefield. The Walk of Remembrance is part of the new World War II memorial that was dedicated on Veterans’ Day, 2011 on Veterans’ Memorial Common. Pavers can be sponsored with a contribution of $500.00 for a 12” x 12” paver or $300.00 for a 6” x 12” paver. Additional information can be obtained by calling Eric at the Department of Public Works Eric Sherman at 781-246-6301.
