Marble Milk Paper and Soda Straw Looms at Wakefield Boys & Girls Club!

More programs at the Wakefield Boys & Girls Club!

Wakefield—This Wednesday, February 24th create marble milk paper with the results of a simple science experiment and next Wednesday, March 2nd use soda straws to create a weaving loom. If you are 7-10 years old, join us at the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield at 4:00pm on Wednesdays where we will create something unique each week. Each participant will take home what they have created. Some of our past creations include one-of-a-kind soaps, bird feeders, pet plants, heart-healthy vegetarian 5-bean soup mix and bean art.

These activities are just a sample of a variety of activities available to our members at no additional cost to the $25 annual membership fee. Membership is open to all young people ages 7-18. If you are not a member yet you can become a member at www.bgcwakefield.org. Come down to the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield located in the lower level of the Americal Civic Center at 467 Main Street to take a tour and learn more about what they offer. For more information contact Club Director Mike Stevens at mstevens@bgcwakefield.org or (781)246-1343. The Club is open to members Monday through Friday 2:00-6:00pm.
