Wakefield Rotary Donates Dictionaries

Club's annual project gifts 275 books

The Wakefield Rotary Club recently completed its annual donation of dictionaries to every third grader in Wakefield. 275 copies were hand-delivered to all Wakefield public schools as well as Odyssey and St. Joseph’s School. Wakefield Rotarian Barbara Worley noted, “This is one of the club’s favorite projects. It allows us to get into the classrooms and we love the questions the kids ask. The gift of education is something that our club believes in strongly.” The club would like to thank the following Rotarians for their diligence in delivering the books: Suzanne Bowering, Joe Buscaino, Frank Fiorentino, Jim Fitzgerald, Bob Kimball, Mario Portillo, Lisa Roderick, Tom Stapleton, James Taylor and Barbara Worley.
