Armed Carjacking In Waltham: Police Investigating

Waltham Police said they're investigating an armed carjacking in Waltham that occurred Monday night.

WALTHAM, MA— The armed carjacking and theft of a wallet on Monday evening does not appear to be a random incident, said Waltham Police, who said they were still investigating the incident.

At about 6:45 p.m. three men, described as Hispanic walked up to a car, pulled out handguns and took the phone and wallet of the driver and a passenger in a car while it sat on Moody Street on the evening of Sept.18. One of the men then got into the car and drove away down Cushing Street, according to Waltham Police in a press release.

A little while later police found the car on Cooper Street, just a couple of blocks from the carjacking.
