Roles: There are roles for 1 woman and 3 men, plus 1 role that is gender-neutral. Please note that age ranges are relative and fluid. If you’re interested, show up. Let us worry about whether you’re ‘right for it’. Come out, read, have fun. It’s a sweet, funny, smart script.

ANNIE (female, 20s to late 30s): Annie is skittish, wry, and a bit depressed. Down on her luck in her love life, and stalled in her career as the head of fundraising at a mid-size PBS station, she’s not sure about anything anymore.

ELLIOT (male, 20s to late 30s): Elliot is a coworker of Annie’s who has been in love with her for ages, and he’s sure: about her, about his faith, and about life in general.

DONALD (male, 30s to 40s): Annie’s new neighbor across the hall. Affable, outgoing, and very much in love with his unseen wife.

DAL (male, 50s to 60s): Annie’s new landlord. Excited to rent the apartment, cheerful, and a little nosy. Not much of a PBS fan, Dal harbors a secret passion for the Disney Channel.

TONY (male or female, 20s – 40s): The engineer/director/factotum at Channel 68. Excitable and professional.
