City Opening Shelter at the Bright School

The city has announced it is opening the shelter at the Bright School, located at the corner of Grove Street and Bright Street.

The shelter will open on Friday, Feb. 13, through Sunday, Feb. 15, from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. “due to impending frigid temperatures and snow.”

The Shelter will be staffed by a Building Custodian and a required Police Officer, and building maintenance will set up cots and blankets as needed.
