Dassault Systemes Boston Campus Toastmasters Becomes a President's Distinguished Club

This month, Dassault Systemes Boston Campus Toastmasters achieved the elite Toastmaster club award, President’s Distinguished.

President’s Distinguished is the highest level award in the International Toastmaster yearly Distinguished Toastmasters Program. In Toastmaster District 31, which covers all clubs in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, to date 20.7 % of the its clubs are President’s Distinguished for the Toastmaster 2014-2015 Toastmaster year. “This is a great achievement for Dassault Systemes Boston Campus Toastmasters, notes club President Odette Termine. She adds, “Our club is only in its second year of existence.”

DCP is Toastmasters International recognition program for all of Toastmasters clubs worldwide. From July through June, Toastmaster International tracks all clubs in their progress at meeting both educational and membership goals and recognizes clubs based on achieved goals.

Clubs can achieve 10 DCP goals. To achieve President’s Distinguished, a club must achieve 9 out of 10 goals.

The DCP Program is a key part of the Toastmaster club mission to provide a supportive and structured environment for its members to meet education goals and develop communication and leadership skills. The DCP program allows each club to focus on individual and collective achievements.

Dassault Systemes Boston Campus Toastmasters Club meets at Dassault Systemes, 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, at noon on the 1st Tuesday and the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
