East Cambridge Savings Bank Supports Elder Services
East Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation Grants $1,200 to Cooperative Elder Services
November 10, 2014 -- Cooperative Elder Services, Inc. (CESI) recently received a $1200 grant from East Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation. CESI will use these generous funds to supplement the cost of nutritious meals for low-income elders living in Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Medford, Somerville, Waltham and other towns. CESI thanks East Cambridge Savings Bank for supporting programs designed for improving quality of life, and for their dedication to serving local communities.
CESI is a non-profit Adult Day Health organization based in Lexington, with centers located in Arlington, Burlington, Milton, Groton and Concord. CESI provides a welcoming day-time environment for local seniors, with nursing care, nutrition, socialization with peers, therapeutic activities, social services, caregiver support and round-trip transportation offered throughout the week. The mission of CESI is to help elders remain at home for as long as possible by promoting their health and independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
