Finishing Touches On 150 Foot Mural for The Arsenal Project
It's beginning to look a lot like...

The holidays!! And, as this 150’ lighted mural goes up on Friday evening at The Arsenal Project (formerly the Arsenal Mall) in Watertown, a special celebration will launch the holiday season. Designed by renown Cambridge artists Ross Miller and Nate Swain, with over 10,000 light bulbs and a painted backdrop that replicates the Charles River view behind the mall, Allyson Reed (General Manager of the mall) drops by to assist as final touches are made to the huge mural, which is the centerpiece of a festive celebration to take place at the mall from 6:30 – 8:00 on Friday evening (Nov. 21). Local Watertown officials, joined by the championship Watertown girls Field Hockey team and radio personality Fast Freddy, will flip the switch on the mural that will be mounted on a huge wall facing Arsenal Street through the winter months. The “Light Up the Holidays” event will be free – and will feature singers, free snacks and lot of other fun activities. For more information, check www.thearsenalproject.com/events .
