The Herald Walks Waltham in the Blizzard

Tedeschi’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Gordon’s Fine Wines and Liquors - all of them managed to open yesterday in the midst of the Blizzard of 2015.

The Boston Herald took it to Ash Street in the morning, talking to folks who needed their coffee, wine and other incidentals.

Otherwise, “plowers and a lone snowblower were the only ones out on a normally bustling Moody Street, Waltham’s restaurant row where most businesses had yet to clear their sidewalks.”

Snowfall totals are not available for Waltham, but the National Weather Service reports other totals in Middlesex County. North Woburn got 24.5, Wayland 20 and Wilmington 23.
