Memorial Service For Former Councilor Tom Curtin

Curtin passed away Friday at 59.

WALTHAM, MA – Tom Curtin, the former Ward 4 city councilor and current assistant city clerk, died Friday at 59.

The well-liked city official passed away surrounded by family at Massachusetts General Hospital after a long illness, according to Brasco & Son Memorial Funeral Home. First visitation for Curtin will be Thursday, followed by a service Friday.

The visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. at The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Son, 773 Moody St. Friday's service will begin at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church of Waltham, 311 River St.

Curtin will be interred at the Mt. Feake Cemetery, 203 Prospect St.
