Missing NH Woman Last Heard from in Waltham Found Safe

A elderly woman from Exeter, New Hampshire, who went missing Friday has been found safe.

Janet Murphy, 76, was last heard from Friday at about 2:30 a.m., when she called a friend saying she was lost in Waltham, Mass., according to Exeter police. Murphy’s family said she’s struggling with memory loss.

Police said she was found safe Saturday morning in Newcastle, Maine—which is a two-hour drive from Exeter.

Police said she went missing after leaving choir practice at the Bellville Church in Newburyport, Mass. Thursday at about 10 p.m.
